Why people don't use a lot Adobe XD and prefer Phototshop for web design ?

Hello, I noticed that when I worked in two companies, that web designers use photoshop, but me when I try to create a web mockup, I just use Adobe XD, it is not heavy, and does the job for me and simpler, I may understand that maybe webdesigners who work with photoshop has some complex beautiful design in their websites, but the ones I worked with are just using simple buttons, layouts, etc ..What do you think ?
